.You can find apartment listings in local papers and on numerous websites. Finding the right apartment for you is usually a tedious and sometimes very frustrating task. It can take a large portion of your time doing the research, making the calls, setting up appointments, finding the apartment when it is time to visit. Working with a broker alleviates a lot of the stress as they will help filter through all the listings, and they would have also visited the apartment beforehand, identifying the truth to the condition, renovation and any other claims listed by the owner. Brokers will also help you evaluate a fair market price and help you negotiate the terms and price. Generally speaking, a broker's fee is usually 1 months' rent + V.A.T. Time is money, so it's your decision if this is a valuable fee
